Kidlington Circular walk no.1:

Today (Wednesday 6th November) Bex and I parked by St. Marys Church in Kidlington and embarked on a 5 mile walk to Shipton-on-Cherwell and back. Along the way we passed Hampton Gay with its spooky ruins of the old manor house. Continuing forwards towards Thrupp we half walked half skidded along the canal, I always enjoy reading the names of the barges and boats.  We completed the route walking through a large copse as we headed back towards St. Marys Church and home.
Although it was raining and rather cold we had a really lovely walk.
Thanks again to all my sponsors, please spread the word.  I've still got a way to go before I hit my target.
